Turbine, developers of the online role playing games Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach and the upcoming The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, today made announcements regarding both of these franchises. D&D is currently live, while LOTR is about to go into beta.
With regards to Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach, said Turbine, a new gaming module was announced which brings more solo game play to the MMOG. The Twilight Forge module introduces the drow race, solo dungeons in the harbor, additional advanced-level quests, an inproved user interface, better grouping options and eight new D&D monsters, including the Mindflayer, Ogre Magi, Warforged Titan, Mummy and Lich.
As for The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, Turbine said they’d opened the doors for beta testers to begin registering to get a chance to try out the upcoming MMOG. The beta program will launch later this summer.
