Read our full written Destiny review.
GAMEPLAN: I’ll be back and streaming again at 10am ET, and I’ll go until around 12pm ET. Then I eat, because it’s very important to remember to do that when you’re going to binge on a game. Then I’ll be back from 1pm to 3pm, and then back again from 4pm until whenever I stop playing.
ORIGINAL POST: We’re now less than 24 hours before Destiny launches on September 9, 2014, and the game’s servers are supposed to switch on at 8am ET to give media and other select individuals a head start. We’ve got a ton of Destiny content coming your way over the next stretch of days, and it starts here with our review livestream.
I don’t know yet when we’ll be running our Destiny review, but I’m going to be playing as much as I can this week to make it as timely as possible. We’re clear to start broadcasting footage as soon as the servers go live, though, so I’m going to do just that. Tune in at 8am ET for your first look at the final version Destiny. I’ll stream for at least an hour from there, and then I’ll be back throughout the day.
You can tune in to watch the stream out Digital Trends’ Twitch channel, but I’ve also embedded the feed right here. Check back throughout the day for more play sessions; I’ve got to juggle the gaming time alongside my daily writing/editing tasks, but my plan is to spend the lion’s share of this work day wandering around in Bungie’s sci-fi universe.
I’m happy to answer any questions you might have about Destiny. Just ask in the Twitch stream’s chat channel. Just bear in mind that I’m running the stream all by myself, so I may miss a few questions if they come up during heavy action. To access the chat, go directly to the Twitch stream page and sign into your account.
