Win a copy of Spec Ops: The Line on any system!

Recently, 2K Games and Yager Entertainment released a third person military shooter with a twist that goes by the name Spec Ops: The Line. The mechanics were similar to many other third person shooters, but the story was something that had to be experienced to be fully appreciated. The plot was dark and disturbing, and featured a narrative that was closer to Apocalypse Now than most shooters. It was a psychological journey down the dark recesses of—actually, you know what? Just read our review for more details on the game and why we thought it was the bee’s knees. But even then, don’t take our word for it. Why not win a copy and find out for yourselves?

We’ve teamed up with our friends at KD+E to offer five winners the chance to try out the game. We have five, yes five copies of Spec Ops: The Line to give away. Two of them are for Xbox 360, two are for PS3, and one will be given out for PC via a Steam code or physical media.

All you have to do to enter for a shot at winning is to post a comment below, telling us what your favorite shooter of all time is, and you will be entered to win. You must also specify which platform you would prefer.

And that’s it. easy like Sunday morning. The contest will run from now until Wednesday the 18th at 5pm PST. We will then notify the winners via email.

So post a comment below sometime between now and next Wednesday at 5pm, tell us your favorite shooter (third or first, PC or console), then specify which platform you are hoping for, and you will automatically be entered for a chance to win.

This contest is open to US residents only.

Good luck!

In a similar vein to that DLC, the larger story of Wonderlands takes place during a game of Bunkers & Badasses that is run by Tiny Tina as she sets up and guides player’s characters through the fantasy landscape.

And while Tiny Tina has been voiced by Ashly Burch (also known for her voice work as Aloy in the Horizon series and Chloe Price in Life is Strange) since her initial introduction in Borderlands 2, the fan-favorite character truly came to life in Wonderlands thanks to the art of motion capture.
