Xbox360 To Get Wii-Type Remote

Microsoft to follow the trend established by Wii and PS3 and hit waggle mode.

A source has revealed to MTV that Microsoft has instructed games developers to make alterations on their games titles for theXbox 360 to accommodate a remote control similar to that used by the Wii.   Rare hasbeen working on the remote since last August, and Microsoft expects it to be rolled out by Christmas, and developers have confirmed that they’ve been told to convert titles to work with theremote.   It’s no real surprise to see Redmond’s finest following this route, given the success of the Wii and its remote and the PS3 with its wand controller.
