The Facebook App Center only launched this past June and recently (finally) introduced a search function, but it remains Facebook’s attempt at distributing the work of its Open Graph and associated developers. While it’s meager in comparison to the likes of the iOS App Store and Google Play Marketplace, the App Center is starting to grow in numbers and quality, and we scoured what’s currently available to find the best and brightest of what the virtual shelves have to offer.

Facebook already keeps track of birthdays, but by the time you receive an alert, it’s usually too late for anything but the obligatory “Happy Birthday!” wall post. Birthday Calendar compiles all your friends’ birthdays into a convenient calendar so you can plan ahead and commission that marble bust you’ve been planning.
My BandMySpace is king for promoting bands. But if you’re trying to get your music out there, My Band makes Facebook a much more viable platform. It allows you to add a mini band profile, including bio, pictures, tour dates and (of course) music to your profile.
Up until Pipe, sending files over 1GB was impossible through Facebook, but now you can send large files like movies, lossless audio files, and raw images with ease. Just drag and drop the file and it pops up on your friend’s computer.
When you don’t think your favorite movies, music and activities quite say enough about you, dig your profile a little deeper with Extended Info. It allows you to great fields for just about any list you can think of, from currently reading (the most popular custom field) to languages spoken, favorite foods, or just things you hate.
If you’re just as frustrated with Fedex’s online shipping forms as we are, Fedex’s “Ship to Friends” Facebook app should save you the hassle. The app is solely a shipping form, but the instructions are clear and you don’t need to sign up for a Fedex account. It also displays the cost of the shipment per your package’s weight. The app though only services domestic (U.S.A) shipments.

Tried another app builder @corporatecentral (dot) com. It is graphic, allows for complex apps and integrates with facebook so your friends can use it. What I really liked is that one app runs on all mobile devices and web browsers and no code.

and on this website you have articles and you also have a share button, where visitors can actually share those articles from your website.
What i actually want to do is, i want this share button to be customized to do an extra thing.
which is, when "E.g: peter" clicks this share button it actually fetches the name peter from facebook , and adds it into the url and then the share is done.

The “Where I've Been” is the greatest application far from any other.

It was hard for me to understand how it works at first. It took me a while to understand that you just submit a link to a web page with the app on it and that displays in the iframe on the facebook app page. Currently I get 530 monthly users on facebook using my app. I just submitted it about 2 months ago. I am not sure how much traffic I get from the app on facebook. I think when the app gains popularity it will bring alot of traffic to my website.
Was it difficult for you? What type of traffic do you get to your servers from it?
