Asus Transformer Infinity Vs. Transformer Prime: hands-on comparison

Check out our full review of the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity.

Earlier this week, Asus announced the Transformer Infinity, yet another new addition to its Transformer Android lineup, this time with a 1920×1200 pixel screen. We’ve already posted some pictures and specs of the tablet, but one more video couldn’t hurt. Asus showed off both the Prime and Infinity at the Mobile World Congress Android booth this week, so we did a bit of direct comparison between the two keyboard-docking tablets. Surprisingly, they’re nearly identical in most every way. We couldn’t really notice a huge benefit to the Infinity’s huge bump in resolution. Android scales itself the same on both devices. We did notice that things were a tad sharper, but with a price that will likely be at least $100 more expensive than the $650 Transformer Prime, it’s getting a little pricey for a tablet.

What do you think? Are we underestimating the importance of greater resolution?
