After BlackBerry’s press conference earlier this morning, we got a chance to take the touchscreen Z10 for a test drive.
After checking out other features like the new and improved keyboard and the work/play profile switcher, it was pretty clear that the new BlackBerry OS is geared toward professionals. When we got around to the calendar app, this only became clearer. It’s got a simple interface that allows for quick access to advanced features, and comes tightly integrated with other apps like messaging and email. In most cases, you don’t even need to leave the calendar to shoot off an email or reschedule an appointment.
The Z10 goes on sale in the UK tomorrow, January 31, followed by February releases in Canada, China, and the United Arab Emirates. Unfortunately those of us hoping to buy one in the U.S. will have to wait until March.
