Samsung Galaxy S3 S-Beam transfer hands-on

Check our out full written review of the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Google introduced Android Beam on the Galaxy Nexus, but Samsung has decided to kick it up a notch with the Galaxy S3. Like Android Beam, S-Beam allows two devices to transfer data between each other by holding them back to back. The difference is that while Android Beam can transfer small things like web addresses and links to the Google Play app store, S-Beam lets you transfer large files. In this test, we send over a 58.9MB video file from one phone to another in just a few seconds. Though connecting devices remains a bit finicky, the transfer is remarkably fast.
