    When I had a PC running Windows XP, I had to remember to back up my files. Now, my MacBook Pro gets backed up every hour automatically as long as it is turned on and plugged in. (The Time Capsule won’t do a backup if the computer is on battery power, it would be nice if there was an override setting for that, but it’s not important.)

    I used to unplug my old external drive anytime I wanted to sleep because it was noisy. I don’t even notice the TC.

    It is cheaper to buy the router and hard drive separately, but you can’t beat the convenience.
