    The firmware on DVD writers typicallly needs to be updated. To update the firmware on this drive, you need Windows XP or 2000 and RecordNow. See

    Well It is reading & writing DVDs, But It is not recognising CDs!!!

    even after the update. :-(

    This drive sucks, cause its so sloooow, ive buyed a sony dvd and now everything burns way to fast, sony´s dvd writer are great!!
