Iomega eGo Mac Edition Review

My Western Digital my book external drive only worked once and died. When I got it out of the box to recover the files it did not work. Seems this is common with their external drives. Amazing how it is always found to not work RIGHT after the 1 year warranty!!!!!! Amazing that they must have ths shortest warranty out there. I guess now I know why. They are well aware of the failure rate they have but do not want to stand behind the product. Too much money to use once and have it not operate to do what it was bought to do. I only used it to back up that one time. Will never buy another Westen Digital product. Especially after reading about all of the other people that had the same problem as I did. I researched and found a less expensive one that had no bad reviews. Works wonderfully and much easier to work with than the WD. Well, it actually WORKS too!! That, to me, is a huge plus!
