It is important, when connecting these headphones to turn up the output volume on the computer and instead turn down the volume on the headphones. This will make the sound quality much better. I also read in the manual that you can turn off the start sound that shoooshoo above was annoyed with. <br>I am not a sound expert but these headphones are better than my previous. The soundquality is not worth the money unless you need the wirelessness.

I have to say that I was looking forward to using these headphones. I have owned the Sennheiser HD580 which the reviewer mentioned at the start of his review. For many years I have enjoyed them immensely, easily the best headphones I have used. Sound quality and comfort is outstanding. The only draw back to it, was the cord, it gets damaged very easily, luckily you can replace them for $40(AUS dollars). So I got sick and tired of replacing them, going onto my 3rd pair, so I thought it's time to get a wireless version. A friend at the store highly recommended the 130rs, and I have to say they are unbearable. I'm mostly a classic/jazz listener, the reviewer said that its not suitable for this kind of music, too bad I didn't read this review before buying them. But this is not the only problem, when connected to the computer, and you get a sound like a internet explorer pop-up blocker "ping" sound, the sound drops dramatically in volume, to adjust. Its bloody awefull!

I had a bad habit of tripping on headphone cords and breaking them...I went through 12 pairs in just 2 years, finally my parents bought these for me as a christmas present one year and they are the best headphones I have ever owned. The sound quality is superb and the overall design is amazing. I've never had the batteries run out on me, I generally don't use them for more than 8 hours at a time, and with trickle charging I just put em back on the charge stand when I'm done using them so they are always full charged. Yet another great product from Sennheiser.
