Was wary of paying 120GBP to replace my e2c’s (destroyed in the Buncefield oil depot explosion !) but I’m utterly and totally delighted with the e3g’s – no idea if they’re the same as the e3c’s because I’ve never heard them. (but cant see why shure would market the same headphones twice.)

Totally immersive and a real joy to be able to listen to in the office wiuthout fear of bothereing my colleagues.

If you have the cash then get them.

I have owned a set of e3g’s since Oct ’05 and love them! Excellent sound quality and great for commuting on the noisy trains here in NYC.

SHure also provides a great warranty and customer service. The protecive coatine on the wire cracked and it was replaced with no problems in only a few days!

Well Shure audio is the best I have ever experienced! The quality, the noise reduction, the style; Shure takes audio to a higher level! First, I bought this pair of E3Gs but later on I just switched to the E5Cs.
