I dont see much advantage 11g would have over 11b for this sort of application. 11b should be cheaper to make, use less power, deal with interference better and be easier in the processor with slightly better range and (less than 11g but) more than enough bandwidth for a dedicated audio system. I would worry if its b technology. B&O is always ahead of the curve design wise, but falls behind on the computer technology side it seems.
