I think that come this evening (especially at those locations doing midnight release for the Wii U) there will be two lines. One for the Wii U and one for insanely early Black Friday shoppers.

I understand that this article is talking about two specific people who have started a Black Friday line, but that doesn’t exclude others being just as crazy elsewhere.

Meanwhile, I and thousands of gamers will line up to attempt to buy a Wii U tonight.

I just sorta imagined someone getting in the wrong line between the two.

When I used to work for Best Buy in the late 90s, some people would wait 2 or even 3 days to get what they wanted when they didn’t have any tickets to secure their line back then. Now what surprised the hell out of me was for the first time ever Wal-Mart and Target are opening their doors earlier to compensate for their lackluster sales all year long. Don’t know for sure if this is a logical move, but the wait and see approach is always good. BTW, I plan to do all of my shopping online. Safer, easier and more convinient than waiting in long lines for the register in the stores, and wasting gas in your car waiting for the light to change and only moving two blocks in 30 minutes!!
