The Blu-ray Disc Association announces their plans for creating what they consider to be a secure content management system for the new optical disc format.
The Blu-ray Disc Association announced today they had adopted what they consider to be a comprehensive content management system for their new media format which will help fight piracy.

RSSTher also has to be hologramic fingerprinting on these machines that are very difficult to counterfeit that keeps the content secure while consumers can make personal copies that will only work on their machines they purchased.
Also, if the fingerprint is missing on the hardware chip, the Blu-Ray disks won't play. I also want an "authentic purchasing" chip so that incase when somebody shoplifts that drive, it will be useless to the thief.
