CES 2006 Profile: Audio-Technica

Audio company unveils its 2006 line up of import headphones which were originally only available in Japan.

Audio-Technica, a manufacturer of audio related products, unveiled their new Import Series of headphones at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show last week. This new line up of headphones consists of 15 different models designed for audiophiles, DJs or portable listening applications.

With immediate availability and prices ranging from $119 to $329, five of the consumer models are targeted towards audiophiles. These models, the ATH-AD700, ATH-AD500 and ATH-AD300 Open-Air Dynamic Headphones and ATH-A700 and ATH-A55 Closed-Back Dynamic Headphones, deliver what the company says is
