CES 2012: LG unveils stunning and sleek 55-inch OLED TV

LG has lifted the curtain on its new and advanced OLED (organic light-emitting diode) panels today at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. The new 55-inch LG OLED TV generates the most natural colors of any TV set, while keeping the traditionally cutting edge technology “reasonably” priced.

Thanks to LG’s 4-Color Pixel and Color refiner technology which work in tandem to generate natural and accurate colors that offer sharp and consistent picture clarity by utilizing a set of four colors (red, green, blue, and white).

In addition, and according to LG, the company’s Color Refiner technology allows for uniformity in colors and offers a wider viewing angle via a LG algorithm which, according to LG, improves and refines hues and tones.

LG’s latest OLED not only offers stunning technology and vivid image quality, but also features a sleek form factor thanks to LG’s slim and narrow beze l – giving the set a super sleek look that measure in at 4 mm thin and weighs in at an impressive 7.5 kg
