I am “enchanted” by my iPad!
My most magical piece of technology is my Android phone (Samsung SG2 Skyrocket). 13 years ago, when I got my first Nokia phone, I could not have imagined that I would have a freaking computer in my pocket at some point!
My magical “piece” is my girl :) My “magical piece of technology”? I don’t have one. Yet. But, this wand? Um, gay. ’nuff said?
why enter for this then?
I believe that the staff / moderators at Digital Trends are on their game enough to know that I am NOT throwing my hat in the ring, but rather that I just felt the need to comment on this device. You see, there isn’t a second “Comments” section that allows a person to do that.
In answer to your “query”, I’ve owned three Dell systems in my life. They were all sub-par machines. I should ask you, YNOASUS?
My favorite magic piece of technology is Smello-vision!
Imagine how it would be to smell around a game like GTA!
Or one of those Cooking Mama games, and you actually have to smell the food cooking from the game :D
My favourite “magical” piece of technology is without doubt my iPhone, it does things I thought impossible a few years ago. :)
My most magical pieces of technology are my speakers.
My most magical piece of technology is my Android phone (Samsung SG2 Skyrocket). When I bought my first Nokia about 13 years ago I never imagined I would soon have a freaking computer in my pocket!
The Clock! How else would we know if we’re early, late or even ( the rarest of all ) on time.
Im not going to be funny here anymore, I want to win a competition now and im going to be serious.
The computer is a magical piece of technology, and heres why
1) Other items, such as mobile devices, sprouted from it.
2) The second REAL technological advancement ( After the TV, that is. The television has been available since the 1920s, while the first computer (in the modern sense of the word) was first created in the late 30s-early 40s. The computer, however, wasn’t commercially available until 1975 when the Altair 8800 was released.)
3) ITS THE MOST COMMON TECHNOLOGICAL THINGY AND ALMOST EVERYONE HAS ONE, MAYBE EVEN TWO.
My magical piece is my iphone.
My magical piece of technology is my laptop. Without it, I’d never get homework done or find any recipes or maps. I take it most places I go. It is especially useful for playing on Pottermore and watching the Harry Potter movies!
My magical piece of technology is my computer! it helps me with everything o.o organizing, learning, connecting with ppl, listening to music…..my most important obsession i use my computer for is FACEBOOK AND PINTEREST! <3
My magical piece of technology is touchscreen.
My favourite “magical” tech piece is the microsoft pixelsense.
I’ve once had a chance to see it (2nd generation) working, and it’s fantastic the way it can find out what kind of object is in contact with the screen, and interact with it. There’s a lot of potential in there…
Being old enough to know what an 8-track tape is, and having grown up with only a record player in the house for quite a few years… it’s my iPod. Though, I heard the word “mix tape” the other day and nostalgia washed over me like a tsunami.
I guess getting a DVR was pretty magical to me, granted it was years ago, but I still look at that darn thing and say, “how did I ever live without you?”

Without doubt by mobile phone – as soon as i got my first flip[phone I just knew I at last had a “star trek” communicator – I already had sliding doors to my office – now for the teleporter !
My favorive new tech magic moment was when Sony frrst came out with the Walkman. The stero sound and clairty were way ahead of anything else at the time. I went from carrying a 30lb boombox to a sandwich size Walkman.
True magic.. depends on your age.. to me it would be the first time I saw a “12inch” laser disc image on a large screen TV… sure the size of the disc has gotten smaller and the amount of data that could be held on the smaller discs had grown.. it is still just a laser disc.
3D television content upscaled from 2D… it’s magic!
My favorite magic technology is blu tooth. Allows me to listen to music in my car from my phone and share music and lots of other stuff.
My favorite magic technology is the DVR. Being able to record TV and watch it when I am good and ready is wonderful!
The most magical piece of technology ever is the wheel. What in the world doesn’t depend on some sort of wheel? I can think of nothing! At the very least how would something be transported without some sort of wheel.
My favorite “magical” technology is the infrared sensor. It allows me to not have to touch anything in a public bathroom: the flusher on urinals, the towel dispenser and hand dryer, the faucet and soap dispenser.
My favorite magical piece of technology: Watching videos on the xbox using voice activated Kinect. Conversations with my wife during seasons of Chuck go something like this:
Wife: “XBOX PAUSE. So I am guessing you think Chuck’s girlfriend is kind of cute. What’s her name again in real li…”
Me: “Yvonne Strahovski. Her name is Yvonne Strahovski.”
Wife: “That’s a strange name is she Russia…”
Me: “No, she’s Australian but her parents were Polish.”
Wife (after a few beats of silence): “You seem to know a lot about …”
Me: “XBOX PLAY”
It would be my HP Universal remote, but its nothing compared t a wand.
I would have to say my favorite ‘magical’ piece of technology is the Kinect for XBOX. Not because of it’s gaming purposes, but because it has led to so many other technological advancements.
I would have to say (although, I’m sure it will be over stated by others)… It’s got to be my Ipad. It’s a key piece of tech that I use everyday and have really started to automate my life with.
