In my situation that would mean a third Dish Network dish attached to the eaves of my home. I'm not really crazy about having two dishes, let alone a third, it would look like a NASA aray. I think Dish really neds to re-think this plan. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that thinks that this is a little crazy. I'm already paying over $100 per month for programing and now they want more, and I still can't get the locals (except CBS) in high def. I will be writing a letter to Execxutive Vice President James DeFranco to let him know how I feel about the situation and I would reccomend others do so in a respective manner. The address is: 9601 S. Meridian Blvd. Englewood, CO 80112
Perhaps if enough customers contact him something may change. As it is, I will not subscribe to the new chanels, and it's possible I will change services. Even cable wasn't this greedy.
  2. pduncan at 7:40am 5th May 2005 I had (notice the had) Dish Networks HDTV. It cost $10 per month and had really nothing worth watching. When I found out they added 10 more HD channels to the line up, I called to find out why I wasn't getting them. Oh.. yea, they said, you can get them but it will cost $5 more a month. More $$$$$$. I think that Dish is taking a chapter out of CABLE's playbook.
  3. Ian Bell and Dan Gaul at 10:21pm 4th May 2005 This is something I am very excited about. I just wish their HDTV PVR would come down in price to reasonable levels. Right now I have their old non-HDTV PVR in one room and their HDTV reciever in the other. I really wish I could record in HDTV.
