Gefen Delivers New HDMI Switcher

The 4x1 HDMI Switcher allows one HD display to support up to 4 HD sources and is weighted to prevent the box from lifting.

Gefen, a maker of add-on hardware for AV/IT and consumer electronics/home theater environments, announced a new switcher for multiple HDMI compatible devices. The 4×1 HDMI Switcher is available for $399.   The 4×1 HDMI Switcher, saidGefen, allows users to enable up to four HD sources to be accessed from the same HD display. Other features include optional support for DVI with an adapter, control from an RS-232 interface orIR remote and availability in black to better blend with system components.   The switcher is also available in traditional silver/blue and is weighted to prevent the box from lifting.
