What can you do about it when you clearly tell people not to touch the lcd screen, and they do it for meanness. My mom will not stop touching the lcd screen, no matter what, she does it everytime she get mad. And if i clean the finger print off, it just makes her so mad. she keeps saying she is gonna bust it. I bought the lcd tv with my own money. What gives her the right to wanna mess it up. What can i do to make her stop? What is here problem?

Really, take heed of the 'do not use paper towels' warning.. unfortunately, we found out the hard way that paper towels are slightly less abrasive than sand paper..

(this also goes for cleaning any 'clear' plastics like acrylic/perspex.)

I find that a lint free cloth and distilled H2O works just fine. Be gentle!

Unless there are hard smudges or fingerprints, I just use a feather duster. If I do need to remove finger prints, I use a damp cloth and then wipe it that way.
