The 3D DLP models sound great, particularly since there should be current, possibly even classic 3-D films and concerts, etc. to support it favorably. However, it will be interesting to see just what kind of glasses these projectors will require, as the field-sequential and user friendly shuter glasses that have been available use smaller LCD's and are really more suitable for smaller TV screens.

There are LCD flat panels about to hit the market that will allow 3D viewing with glasses from/or similar to REAL-D glasses, according to one 3D industry insider who has seen it, but it may not be coming from Mitsubishi. But have to believe everyone will catch up to this along the way.

A lot of the new 3D projects going into theatres should assure the popularity of 3D televisions, and have to believe a lot of consumers will purchase them once the economy straightens out.
