Will these new WMV9 HD-DVDs play on HD-capable DVD players? There are several WMV9 HD-DVDs (e.g. Terminator 2) available today, but they can only be played and viewed on a computer. They cannot be used on WMV9-HD capable DVD players such as the Avel Linkplayer2 (take it from someone who has one). Not very user friendly. They also require the download of a license (which quickly expires) in order to be played on the PC. Warner Bros. will have to keep their DRM paranoia to a manageable level for this to work.
