New Turbosound TBS-110 subwoofer

Turbosound introduces the new TSD-110 compact sub-bass enclosure designed to be used in a variety of installed sound applications ranging from clubs to houses of worship.

Features include a dual voice coil ten-inch LF driver housed in a birch plywood enclosure consisting of two dissimilar compartments, optimally ported to produce substantial bass energy from a verysmall footprint.

This dual-channel speaker features two independent voice coils within the same drive unit. This allows a single TSD-110 to be configured as part of a high quality two-channel system with up to foursatellite units per channel. The left and right low-frequency input signals, having little directionality are summed to generate a mono bass signal. A rear panel connector plate provides left andright stereo inputs and outputs via four color-coded spring-loaded push terminals.

The TSB-110 is designed to be installed in tight spaces such as under bars or stages or even underneath seating without affecting sonic performance. M10 rigging points are provided by permanentinstallation.

Sennheiser Electronic Corporation located in Old Lyme, CT distributes all of Turbosound’s products into the U.S. market, encompassing the QLight(tm) Series, the recently introduced multi-purposeTQ-300 Series – as well as the Flashlight(r) and Floodlight(r) systems. In 2003 activity will also be focused on Turbosound’s forthcoming series of specialist compact systems for the installmarket.
