how can this be a reality?

1. Officials say the Interactive Layer of BluRay and HD-DVD is not supported in the first release. It's also known from DVD authors in Hollywood that the interactive layer is extremely buggy.

2. Decoders inside the Media Center (Vista Version) are extremely buggy. Media Center Edition 2005 doesn't have any decoders that work inside it for HD-DVD.

3. On top of that the hardware to support the Interactive Layer, along with the streaming audio layer will change over the next year as more and more bugs are found.

4. Hollywood Studios along with Dolby have yet to do major testing on disc's they've created with for enhanced features such as 7.1 digital audio out, and streaming an audio stream so how can a Media Center with hardware for today work when testing isn't fully completed?

5. Speaking of the new audio standards, Dolby has published the information on what will be required to enjoy the new 7.1 surround sound and right now there isn't a sound card available that can handle the new standard?

I'm sorry for the banter but the bull crap people get from these manufactures, and Hollywood types is getting to be too much.
