Oppo DVD players have generated a strong buzz around the internet, and rightfully so. They are the best at upscaling standard DVD's to take advantage of HDTV technology. I have the DV-981, and I'm lovin' every minute of it!!!

They are bios upgradeable too, right? I've seen em and really liked them as well.

I've seen the Oppo's in action “CEDIA”, they are great. If your concerned about what next gen DVD player to buy (HD-DVD or Blu-Ray) but you can't wait,just buy the Oppo now and with it's upconverting feature and quality, you might not see much of a difference.

Oppo makes some fantastic DVD players. I highly recommend them over the bigger names.
