The Outlaw Bookshelf Loudspeaker marks the introduction of the company's first full-range loudspeaker.
Outlaw Audio, a maker of consumer electronics products, announced recently its first full-range loudspeaker. The Outlaw Bookshelf Loudspeaker, priced at $999 per pair for a black finish or $1099 for cherry veneer, should be available now.
The Outlaw Bookshelf Loudspeaker is hand-built, according to Outlaw Audio, and offers up high-grade crossover components and high-end drivers. The speakers are matched within 1 D2 dB of Outlaw’s reference standard, making it easier to match one speaker with another if purchased at different times.
Other features of the Outlaw Bookshelf Loundspeaker include a 25 mm (1-inch) silk dome tweeter, a long-throw 5-1/4" SEAS woofer and a high-frequency adjustment switch.
"Since we launched Outlaw eight years ago, hardly a day has gone by without someone asking us about speakers," commented an Outlaw spokesman in a statement. "As many of us have a great amount of experience with loudspeakers, it seemed like a fair question. However, the reality is that we were hesitant to enter the highly crowded field of loudspeakers unless we felt we could offer something truly special at a great price. Well, now we can do just that – and it gives us great pleasure to introduce our first loudspeaker."

RSSSeriously...what's so special about this? I agree that Outlaw Audio makes some nice components...but they need to stay there.
