Even though Blu-Ray is outselling HD-DVD, those numbers are based largely on people who own PS3's. HD-DVD stand alone players are outselling BluRay otherwise. Maybe Paramount doesnt have faith in the PS3 and thinks whoever succeeds in stand alone players will be the overall winner? Or maybe their is some cash involved???

Wow, this is a stunning turn of events. I have to wonder why though!? Blu-Ray movies are outselling HD DVD movies 3 to 1 !
