RBH Sound has just debuted the 1212-SE, a dual 12-inch, 400-watt class A/B powered subwoofer that uses TAV technology for increased performance with a smaller cabinet size.
Tuned Aperiodic Vent (TAV) technology bridges the gap between vented and sealed enclosure subwoofer designs providing deeper low frequency extension than similar sized, sealed designs. TAV technology shifts the vent tuning to a much lower frequency than would otherwise be possible in a small-vented enclosure and also improves transient response.
