Samsung and Sony have agreed to set up a 50-50 joint venture to manufacture liquid crystal display (LCD) screens for use in next-generation LCD televisions.
Samsung and Sony have agreed in principle to establish a joint-venture company for the manufacturing of seventh-generation LCD screens and signed a relevant memorandum of understanding (MOU), they said.
