Sure, you could enjoy your 120-inch projection screen on La-Z-Boy covered in grease stains and Cheeto residue, and Gladiator would look just as blood-splatteringly awesome. But if you aim to impress your guests rather than disgust, well, you’ll need some custom home theater seating for that. The home theater gurus rolled out their big guns for CEDIA 2010, but after seeing so many black leather recliners, you’ve seen them all. Enter the First Impressions Theme Theaters, which had some of the most bizarre – and surprisingly plush – seats we’ve ever kicked up our weary feet on. From a faux Harley Davidson with working headlights to a Persian-style chair covered in red velvet and gold trim, take a look at some of our favorites.

The chairs are very well designed for the home theater. The technical aspects on designing the chair is really good. Good to see new creativities.
