We gawk at the beautiful 72-inch LG 3D display perched on the wall.
LG is pushing its self through the onslaught of Japanese tech heavyweights, like Sony and Panasonic, and making its way to the 3D TV forefront. The company debuted a working (beautifully working) prototype of a 72-inch LCD 3D TV at CES this week. 3D technology hit the CES showroom pretty hard this year and we were lucky enough to take in eye-fulls of this new innovation.

RSSAt $3500 it's expensive, but considering it will last 10 years or more, it's not that expensive. I've seen kids in college spend over $15,000 for a car when a $3000 car would have sufficed. So it's not a matter of being privileged as you say. Instead maybe you are poor. Maybe it's not your fault, but don't fault others because they find a $3500 TV within reach. And finally DLP's can look great. It doesn't matter if they aren't quite as good as LCD. The point is people can get 65 inch to 72 inch screens. IT'S 2010, not 2000!!! And finally the original article text and pictures have all been changed. So nothing here is relevant any more anyway.
