Vizio's new VSB210WS Sound Bar works with almost any HDTV, and features SRS TruSurroundHD and a wireless subwoofer.
Vizio has taken the wraps off its new VSB210WS Sound Bar, a new home theater audio system that works with most HDTVs (although Vizio, obviously, hopes consumers will pair it up with a Vizio unit) and aims to provide an audiophile-level experience while offering technologies that enhance users television and movie viewing.
The VSB210WS Sound Bar features four 3-inch midrange drivers and two 1-inch aluminum neodynium tweeters, along with a 6.5-inch subwoofer that connects to the system using 2.4 GHz wireless technology. The system sports on S/PDIF input and two analog stereo inputs, a Discrete 192kHz, 24-bit S/PDIF receiver with up to 144db of dynamic range, and an integrated Class D amp with 15 watts per channel. The sound bar also sports SRS TruSurroundHD technology to bring out the best in high-definition audio, and SRS TruVolume, which can automatically limit unusually loud transients…and things like commercials.
The VSB210WS Sound Bar is available now for a suggested retail price of $349.99.
