		<description>Part of the attraction with thin screens is the overall power consumption. Back lighting with LEDs or organic LCD screen should last longer and use a lot less power. This could offset the higher initial costs. I have a online calculator that can work out yearly energy costs of appliances based on the in use and standby power rate. &lt;br /&gt;
