XM Satellite Radio Tops 3M Subscribers

XM Radio has recently surpassed 3.1 million subscribers, the company's year-end goal for 2004.

XM offered holiday gift buyers a variety of new, next-generation products, including the award-winning Delphi XM2Go MyFi , the first portable, hand-held satellite radio, and the Delphi XM SKYFi2, thefirst plug-and-play satellite radio with pause and replay features. XM recently announced an 11-year deal to broadcast games for every Major League Baseball team beginning in spring 2005. XM alsoannounced a long-term agreement with Toyota Motor Sales, USA to provide satellite-delivered data services for Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles. In addition, Toyota will offer factory-installed XMradios in Toyota and Lexus vehicles in 2006, and expand the number of models offering XM as a dealer-installed option in 2005.
