Neit debuts world’s first collapsible, hard case suitcase

Tired of stuffing your suitcases into the little space you have available in your apartment? Premium quality luggage brand Néit developed a line of suitcases that can be collapsed, making them convenient to store away when they’re not in use.

The suitcase is equipped with a unique collapsing method that saves you plenty of space. In only 10 seconds, you can collapse the luggage down to just 3 inches while its unlocked and opened. This case can be stored pretty much anywhere — under your bed, couch, and/or hanging in your closet thanks to its carabiner-style hanger. The hanger also makes it easy for you to attach extra baggage onto the case while traveling.

The case is made of a lightweight and durable Polycarbonate material to help protect fragile items such as perfume bottles from breaking inside. It also features aircraft-grade aluminum for additional structural protection and is built with YKK zippers, known for their superior quality used in mountaineering equipment. Both zippers on the inside and outside of the suitcase are from YKK’s waterproof Aquaseal line. The four revolving wheels allows for 360 degree rotation and an overall easier commute. The wheels can also be removed for a more efficient use of space when placing multiple cases in your car.

Finally, the luggage also comes with a built-in GPS tracking system. By downloading their Travel App, you will be able to locate your luggage with the GPS tracker, store your boarding pass, check your flight status, book additional flights or hotels, map your way to a hotel from the airport, and discover fun things to do. Néit offers a checked bag size, which collapses by 70 percent, while the carry-on size can be reduced up to 30 percent its original size.

Néit is a little over two thirds from meeting its Kickstarter goal.

How to save Ring Doorbell video without a subscription
Ring Doorbell mounted outside a front door.

Take a walk through any neighborhood, and you're bound to see a few Ring video doorbells installed next to front doors. The brand is increasingly popular, thanks to an ever-growing product lineup that makes it easy to find a device for all budgets and security needs. But one of the peskier features of Ring is the need for a Ring Protect Plan -- a monthly subscription service that unlocks the majority of the camera's most useful features.

One such feature locked behind a Ring Protect Plan membership is the ability to save Ring doorbell videos. Without a plan, you'll really only be allowed to view a live feed of your video doorbell. The plans are pretty generous, with the Basic plan costing $5 per month and offering video history for up to 180 days, making it a worthwhile investment for homes worried about their security.
