New Incase DSLR Pro pack offers plenty of storage for photo enthusiasts

If you’re a photographer who has a few camera bodies and more than a few lenses to pack along on photo excursions, most typical camera bags or backpacks probably aren’t going to cut it. Most bags and packs are designed for a body and maybe an extra lens or two, but Incase has just introduced a new bag to its lineup that has plenty of room for all your gear, unless you’re Annie Leibovitz. The Incase DSLR Pro Pack ($150) was designed for “equipment-intensive photography” and has a place for almost everything.

The backpack comes in a dark heathered gray color and showcases the company’s signature minimalist look, which is refreshing for a serious camera bag. The roomy main compartment has adjustable dividers and room for something like six lenses, a body, and a flash, or some other similar combination. The second largest compartment offers a padded sleeve for up to a 15-inch MacBook Pro as well as a second padded slip pocket for an iPad should you have to do some quick photo editing while on-the-go. There are helpful organizational pockets in there as well, and we like that the bag has an external zippered pocket for your phone or a point-and-shoot camera. An extra top zipper gives you quick access to the main compartment for equipment changes.

Considering how much gear you’ll likely be carrying in the pack, Incase added fully padded straps, an adjustable sternum strap, and a comfortable mesh back panel. The exterior of the bag has two adjustable straps to hold down a folding tripod, and there are two external slip pockets for quick access to smaller items. If you have enough gear to pack this bag full, it looks like it would be a great bag for portability, and we love the simple urban design as well. To us, the perfect camera pack is a good combination of storage, easy access, and a little dose of style. Based on our first look, we’d say this one fits the bill.
