Justice Investigates Yahoo, Apple, And Google

Three big names come under the Justice microscope as it starts an antitrust investigation into hiring.

Did they or didn’t they? That’s the question a Justice Department investigation will attempt to answer as it begins an investigation into the hiring practices of Google, Yahoo, and Apple.

At the heart of the matter is whether there was an agreement between the companies not to headhunt each other’s senior staff, which would stifle competition if any pact was formal. The Washington Post has been told by sources that the investigation could move to other tech companies, too.
