The Pope Goes You Tube

Pope Benedict XVI has launched the Vatican's new cyberspace venture, its own channel on YouTube.

The Vatican has had its own website since 1995, but it’s attempting to reach further into the 21st century by launching its own, dedicated channel on YouTube, which will carry video and audio footage of the Pope’s speeches, as well as Vatican news.

The Pope launched the venture by saying:

"You must find ways to spread – in a new manner – voices and pictures of hope, through the internet, which wraps all of our planet in an increasingly close-knitted way."

The Vatican will keep supplying new material for the venture, which was aptly launched on the Church’s World Day of Communications. Initially, material will be in English, German, Spanish and Italian, but more languages will be added.

The catholic church has lot more to do at this point of time and space to bring peace and hormony, even more vigoursly.

I wish great success in this cyber mission.
