Personally I don't mind waiting a few more minutes in the lines this day and age for better hands on manual screening. All they have ever taken from me is hair gel that was more than .04oz. Way to go TSA, I'm sure everyone on the plane feels safer. Glad to see TSA is thinking of ways to reduce lines, however it seems like a lot of stuff is still making it thru security.
