Japanese scientists are hoping to clone a woolly mammoth in the next five years. This video explains how they plan to do it.

Earlier this year, we posted a story about a Japanese scientist named Akira Iritani who hopes to clone a woolly mammoth in the next five years. Well, LiveScience heard about his plans as well and made a video showing the basics of what Iritani hopes to accomplish and how he is somehow able to bring life back to freeze-damaged cells. If he manages to create a live mammoth, who knows what other extinct creatures we could recklessly create? Hopefully his cloning procedure uses frog DNA to complete the code. We’ve heard that stuff works.
