iHome iP1 Review

Awesome sound! My iPod has all the tunes saved in Apple Lossles and the sound is much better than I had hoped for. We use it for listening to music outside around our RV and around the campfire.The bass response is exceptional! Vocals are very realistic. The B&W Zeppelin is the only one I have heard that is better and it’s more than 2X the money. The Harmon Kardon Go & Play would be almost on par and it has a handle. For iPods that have the music stored as MP3 the Bonjovi DPS circuit really adds to the quality of sound, it however doesn’t work well with the Apple Lossles tunes.

Pros: Great Sound!, compact, remote control, bass & treble adjustment from the remote (with a one touch reset to flat feature), lots of power, no useless features….made for sound, good iPod navigation.

Cons: not portable (needs AC power), separate power supply, no handle, hard to dock iPhone that has a protective cover, no alarm feature.

If you want an iPod dock strictly for music quality look no further, you won’t be disappointed.
