I bought this exact machine used on ebay (yes, I know can be super risky). I'm the 3rd owner and have now had it for close to 2 years myself. Couldn't be happier with it. Sure, I would love to have a 2.8 ghz, or something fun like that.. but my 2.33 still works stellar! Best investment I think I've ever made!

Do you know that Windows runs faster on Mac machines? Well it's true. Intel core 2 duo works faster with Mac because it utilizes the maximum of Intel core 2 duo potential and graphic card use for high application and high end gaming.

I'm on my third core 2 duo MBP. The first died after a week from a terminal kernal panic. The next lasted a month before smoke started pouring out of the back of the keyboard. AppleCare has been particularly disappointing. Their original response to the smoking mbp was that they'd need a 4 days to figure out what to do about it. When i told them that must be joking, the reps reply was, "well don't you have another computer?" WTF? It was only after turning into an a**hole that they agreed to get me a replacement asap. If this one dies i'm giving up and buying a used powerbook.

Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside, I've been a cross platformer for years, and never seen an advantage either way. I was growing tired ot carrying 2 lapotps, 2 power bricks, 2 stacks of CD's and 2 mice, 2 graphics tablets and 2 external backup drives.. The macbook Pro C2D has not only saved me coutless hours with its intense processor, and ample memory, but also saved my back.
