Toshiba is offering the Portege Z830 starting November 2011 and its supposed to be the lightest netbook on the market.

Toshiba’s Portege Z830 is being billed by Toshiba as the lightest netbook on the market. It has a .63-inch profile and ways less than 2.5 pounds. Which is surprisingly thin. It comes with Windows 7 Premium or Professional. You can buy it with Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors. It gets up to 6 GBs of memory. The screen is 13.3″ widescreen HD LED backlit display. The hard drive is 128 GB solid state drive. The keyboard is backlit and Toshiba claims that it is spill resistant.
