The Impreza WRX STI will offer a high-boost 305-hp turbocharged/intercooled 4-cylinder Boxer engine along with a 6-speed manual transmission. 1. erod at 11:19am 30th March 2011 Don't care of what anybody says about the new 2011 Sti. I'm about two months shy of getting one, im pretty exited about it. I just see it as a whole new generation of the subarus. It's just a matter of getting use to the new body styles. Guaranteed give it a little more time and people will start going crazy over them.
  2. ltb at 3:55am 15th January 2011 this car is not for the faint hearted u buy it to use it !
  3. sreyanka at 10:49pm 1st November 2010 Progress is wonderful. Its before March brought us wonders as great as sliced bread, democracy, and the weight Shake, strange as seen-on TV product that dubious pacts a workout while toning and six minutes a day. And now, for 2011, yields on the progress of a strong Impreza WRX STI which addresses long-standing complaints about its handling. http://www.exploreauto.net/subaru-impreza-wrx-and...
  4. Sam at 12:35pm 29th June 2010 have most of you got no taste? this is marvellous! modernised and slightly mean looking, will undoubtedly go like **** off a shovel and stick like glue. As for those of you who prefer the hatchback, this is an iconic car, has never been (before the previous one) and hopefully never again will be a hatchback, I wouldn't buy the hatchback for my missus, let alone drive it- it's an insult.
  5. TOO SICK people are blind at 2:31pm 14th June 2010 Thing is sickker and faster than all of your cars so suck a dick you stupid motherfucks
  6. stuart at 2:06am 31st May 2010 this is probly one of the niceset imprezas they have eva made! bloody lovly!
  7. Ami at 2:17pm 22nd May 2010 EVO IS BOSS. Subaru seems to be going backwards
  8. rev at 5:34pm 5th April 2010 I didn't know there were many sporty cars with fender flares that are popular with 17 year olds.

    Any particular examples?

And if that front end is from a Corolla, what have you to say about McHonda's Civic/Accord, Mazda's 3 series and Nissans fairly generic lineup of sedans?
  9. supercars at 4:46am 5th April 2010 I kind of like the hatchback version better.

    1. erod at 11:14am 30th March 2011 the sedan is way more sporty looking tho. the Hatchback looks like a version of an actual go kart.
  10. supercars at 4:42am 5th April 2010 you got to be kidding me I don't see any part that looks the same as a corolla, though I'd vote for the hatchback subaru impreza better, but just to be fair corolla doesn't come close to this design corolla looks like a shoebox with four wheel attached on it.
  11. RC at 9:40am 2nd April 2010 super cool story, bro, we're all impressed by your mad gas-pedal-pushing talents.
  12. RC at 9:39am 2nd April 2010 You're dead right. The Impreza sedan has the front end of a Corolla, side profile of a Corolla, and tail of a Kia Rio. It's absolutely hideous. The STI rear bumper is stolen from an M5/M6, but looks okay. I can't fathom how they managed to butcher the styling of the Impreza so badly. At least the fender flares make it look less like a Corolla and more like a Corolla owned by a 17 year old.

I *love* the looks of the hatchback (minus the fugly taillights that can be fixed with red overlays), but it's not really any different from the previous one, so there's nothing exciting about the new car.
  13. Dan Gaul at 10:15pm 1st April 2010 The radio is horrid, but I don't mind the actual car design.
  14. MP at 4:50pm 1st April 2010 Well, it looks much better in real life than in these images. Check out the NYT photos http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/04/01/new-....

The front wheel wells aren't nearly as offensive in actual photos.
  15. MP at 4:42pm 1st April 2010 Wow, it's hideous.
  16. You aren't as fast as me at 3:12pm 1st April 2010 I own one, and I don't care what you think of how my car looks because all you can see is the rear end of it while I'm leaving you behind with the actual Corollas...
  17. abaldwin at 2:18pm 1st April 2010 Ugly as hell, wonderful cars though...
  18. Ian Bell at 1:48pm 1st April 2010 Agreed, the design doesn't do much for me either anymore.
  19. Andy Sector at 1:36pm 1st April 2010 Still as ugly as ever.

The sedan still looks like a Corolla with a bunch of junk glued on it.

And what is with the clear tail lights on the wagon?

Subaru needs to outsource the design, and re-design the Impreza line from the ground up.
