Al Gore Gives a Green Lecture in Portland, OR

Former Vice President Al Gore is on tour promoting his latest book, “Our Choice.”

If you’re going green with electronics, then you’ll need to do more than just pick up the Motorola Renew phone and get a surge protector. According to Al Gore, going green is about the choices we make for ourselves everyday—and for those of you that willing to spend some green for a “green” book, Al Gore has another solution for you.  Luckily, 100 percent of the proceeds for Al Gore’s new book, Our Choice, will be donated to the Alliance for Climate Protection.

The former Vice President is a Nobel Peace Prize recipient, an Emmy winner, an Academy Award winner and a Grammy winner—and—he will be in Portland, Oregon to do a special event lecture for the Literary Arts (http://www.literary-arts.org/) on November 18th. Literary Arts described on their website that in his lecture Our Choice, Al Gore “continues to make sense of the pressing issues we face and describes how the bold choices necessary to save the earth’s climate should also be the foundations of policies worldwide to create new jobs and stimulate sustainable economic progress.”

Ticket hold of the Lecture will also receive a copy of the Our Choice book.
