Amazon Plans Web Original with Bill Maher

Amazon plans to launch "Amazon Fishbowl With Bill Maher" on June 1, marking the company's first push into producing original programming for the Web.

Amazon.com announced today it plans to launch a weekly original Web-based series,Amazon Fishbowl With Bill Maher, a 30-minute program featuring musical performances and interviews with writers, actors, and directors. And, of course, the show will provide convenient, patented, one-click access to books, CDs, and movies promoted by the show’s guests and available through Amazon.com.
