Just in case you were wondering, it's OK to refer to America Online as "AOL" - they've changed their name.

It’s official: after 15 years, America Online has changed its name to AOL.

Well, actually, America Online has changed it’s name to “AOL LLC,” which doesn’t quite roll as trippingly off the tongue as either “America Online” or simply “AOL.” But we’re betting people will refer to the company as simply “AOL” anyway. The company also unveiled a new corporate logo.

  1. Ian Bell and Dan Gaul at 9:43am 3rd April 2006 I think AOL is having a major identity crisis. Any one have some numbers to show if their subscriber numbers are still increasing and if the company is profitable?
