Big Choppa Contest: Win a Free T-Shirt

British clothing designer Big Choppa offers a selection of stylish and comfortable t-shirts, while doing their part to help the world.

In an era when the “ironic” t-shirt seems to be all the rage, and hipsters are paying $50 and up for a reprint of a 20-year old shirt that once cost $5, it is nice to find a company that still designs its clothing with a sense of flair and originality. Blending original artwork with ethics, Big Choppa sells comfortable and unique clothing- plus for each shirt you buy, one pound sterling ($1.52) will be donated to a charity of your choice.

British t-shirt designer Big Choppa is the brainchild of the creative art stables known as Accepted Design, and as a result each shirt looks and feels unique. The stylings range from the understated to the flashy, but Big Choppa manages to walk the line between cool and gaudy that Ed Hardy and the like have long since lost sight of.

The shirts themselves are a comfortable and durable 100-percent combed cotton that uses twin needle stitching throughout to ensure that they won’t be falling apart any time soon. These are not articles of clothing that you want to wear as an undershirt, they demand to be seen, and each shirt will offer a bit of style with the comfort you would expect of a t-shirt.  Going back to Big Choppa’s desire to do some good, the company also prides itself on using manufacturing that meets all ethical standards, both in terms of working environments and global trading practices.

Check out the Big Choppa websibe at www.bigchoppa.com, and browse through their selections. If you are looking the comfort of a t-shirt, but want a little more style than you might normally find, Big Choppa should be among the first places you look.

  4. Stuart, Rugby at 8:58am 6th August 2010 I've had three of these for three years and despite that I've often slept in them after a heavy night, they haven't deteriorated at all! That's about 2-3 hundred washes; so if it seems they are hyping the quality of these it's for good reason, refreshingly. It almost seems that they care more about what they're doing than the profit margin. I know it's hard to believe but when you get one in your hands, see the hand-sewn labels, the attention to detail - I also got incredibly cool free stickers and badges with mine :) - you'll see what I mean. You can pay more, and for something that ends up lasting six months, isn't original and has paper for labels. So many start out with good intentions but end up lowering their standards to make ends meet or just to increase profit. However, I have high hopes here and I'll be keeping an eye on 'em, a critical one - which obviously means buying their stuff every five years (maybe ten, who knows) *strokes tee*

  11. Nicholas Peacock at 7:20pm 20th July 2010 I admire this man. Big Choppa melds an almost military style with peace and sanctity that rides through the menace of some of his less enlightened contemporaries while delivering a slap in the face to the chaff which some cheap, chavy and cheerful delinquents suppose to be equal. This brand is a million stitches above most. Service and delivery excellent.
